Obituary of William Holland

William H. Holland was born April 29, 1926 in Rochester, New York. He was the oldest child of the late William and Ruth Holland. William was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Beatrice Dade and Cara Parker.
William was first married to the late Virginia Vallot. From this union two children were born, Sandra and William Holland Jr. William is survived by his loving and devoted wife Naomi of 36 years.
William was a graduate of Madison High School. He was employed at the East Rochester Car Shop for several years before spending 29 years as a Machine Technician at Eastman Kodak.
Bill was an avid golfer and bowler, he received numerous awards and accomplished a "Hole In One." He was also enjoyed several sports including baseball, basketball, football and tennis.
Bill leaves behind many family members to cherish his memory. His devoted wife Naomi, daughter Sandra (Dr. James) Brooks of Ft. Worth TX and son William (Floria) Holland Jr. of Rochester, NY. Sister, Elizabeth McGee of Rochester, NY. Seven grandchildren: Eric, Mike, Nekilee, William, Jamie, Staci, Abruy, Twelve great grand children. Mother-in-law, Rosa Wilson, of Cullen, VA, Sister-in-laws: Charmie Bruce, Wilmore Holcomb, Ruth (James) Holcomb all of Cullen, VA, Mary (George) Holcomb of Washington, DC, dear devoted friend, George Fontenette and niece Wanda Parker.
