Obituary of Orlando Samuels
Please share a memory of Orlando to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Death appeared at Orlando's door and said, "Orlando, it's time to go. Are you ready?" He replied, "Yes, Lord, I am tired and ready to go."
On Saturday, May 5, 2007 God quietly claimed one of his precious gifts, the soul of Orlando Samuel.
Mr. Orlando Samuel was born on June 5, 1964 in Rochester, New York. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene and Annie Samuel, Sr.
Orlando graduated from East High School where he was a star on the basketball team. He loved playing basketball and won many trophies. He enjoyed being around his family and friends. Orlando had a zest for life and put a smile on many people's faces he came in contact with. He lifted you up when you were down. He was always there for anyone when you needed him and would help you out in any way he could.
Loved ones that will cherish his memory forever are: his daughter he loved dearly, Dorisha Samuel of Rochester, NY; stepdaughter, Patrice Snipes; five brothers, Lamar Samuel, Eugene Samuel Jr., Michael Samuel, Vernon Green, all of Rochester, NY, and Raymond Samuel of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Lisa Samuel of Charlotte, NC; a god-brother, Larry Kirkland of Rochester, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
We thank God for the years He let us keep Orlando. We know he is gone to be with the Lord.
