I've remembered my last talk with Brenda all day today and realized as I hope that you do too that Brenda is in God's Great Hands today, smiling down at us, knowing she was well loved while she was among us, knowing that she will be well loved even though she has left us and most of all knowing that her loved ones will remain wrapped in and surrounded by the great gift of love that she has given them.
I am blessed to be called a family friend and want you all to know as I am sure that you do, that I am here when you need me.
I share in your pain and in your sorrow but I rejoice in knowing that Brenda is in God's Hands now and forever -- she suffers no more.
Your friend always,
Gloria Boyd

Brenda was truly an inspiration, with her great sense of humor and her sunny disposition. Always a smile, a hug and a thoughtful word. She was a bright spot in every day life at the office. She was a good friend to me and she will be sadly missed. I take comfort in the fact that she is at peace with Jesus. My sincere condolences to Freddie, Demetrius and the entire family.
