Aunt Lula Mae was my pal and my buddy. She always accepted me for who I am and always called me her neice. We had many adventures together. One of our "trips" to Niagara Falls Velma's car broke down on our way back. Lula and I rode in the car being towed and had a whole different view of the world on an angle. We planted gardens together many springs. We also enjoyed many a food outing to RED LOBSTER! I spent Aunt Lula Mae's last afternoon on earth with her. We listened to the CD's Velma had made for her. We listened to several gospel CDs and listened to her late son Marshall's CD over and over. I talked to her and we had a very pleasant afternoon. I was privileged and honored to have known Aunt Lula Mae. I shall miss her and I loved her!!!

Cousin Lula Mae; I didn't get to know you as I should have because we were seperated by distance. But I knew your spirt, and that you loved the Lord. I did know Grace, and Hattie and Hank and I know they loved you more than anything. So I know that God's love surrounded you, peace enfolded you, never to depart.
