Willie Lee Austin was born January 15, 1931 in Bradenton, Florida to the late Lucien Austin and Annie Lee Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents. He relocated to Rochester, New York where he started his career in construction and advanced to an operating engineer with the International Union of Operating Engineers local 832. He was a licensed crane operator. He retired from this industry in the early 90's. He was also an entrepreneur specializing in the field of welding for more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife Claudia; daughters, Sandra (Jessie) Price, Sr. and Gwendolyn (Frank) Pickett; five grandsons, Jessie Jr., Clinton, Anthony, Annon and Jalen; stepsisters; stepbrothers; brothers-in-law, Herman Sr., Charles, David, Randy (Yulanda) Everett and William Hill; sister-in-law, Lucille Everett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
