March 24, 2009 at age 61 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Preceded by her son, Marcel. Forever cherished by her husband of 28 years, Rev. Herman Alston, Jr.; sons, Frank and Roderick; daughters, Teresa and Letitcia; 7 grandchildren; her mother, Ethel Williams of Sarasota, FL; brothers, Arthur (Loreda) Williams and Eddie (Katrina) Williams, Jr.; sister, Karen Sykes; and a host of other relatives.
Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.
