Bishop Ellie Granger was my Pastor from birth until adulthood. My parents Deacon Samuel Murrell and Rev. Johnnye Murrell raised me and my sisters Sharon Murrell Dilbert and Matasha Murrell Jones (god daughter) in Calvary Spiritual Church under the leadership of Bishop Granger. Rev. Granger was instrumental in making me the person I am today. He was a true and faithful man of God who also had a sense of humor and shared many stories about my parents when they rented from the Grangers. I will cherish those memories forever.
